on Monday i was visiting Bellavicious at her house and looking at was an empty apartment (i have been to her house daily to collect well decked out and new
model) and the sever crashed for the 1000;s time...
and then..i could not log on. i am getting character will not load message
saying not much you can do. not much i can do?
tell me i am not really lost and 2 months of work is not down drain?
75 fighter 5 fashion craft 5 gear craft, 5 food and body gathering 3 metal

Same question here - will i get my character back, it has taken months to gain skills.

And I spent almost a year building mine... Now I'm worried about my jet black boots and my alpha omega XX claw. Keeping my fingers crossed that you will find my character in some backup and restore it without too much lost. I have lost a few days of fighting now, which I guess I could live with, but not my claw.....

We are recovering your characters as much as we are able to and will be arranging to give you some items and other things as a make good. I know that this won't fully make up for the lost time and energy you have put into characters, but hopefully it'll be something you will find amenable. I am having trouble getting on to the game... it worked yesterday sporadically. I would be playing and then connection was lost... then eventually it said that my character is missing.... I just started playing and was getting a little addicted... is there any estimation on when it will be back on and working?

Is it of any help to you guys if we try to list what we remember of ohais,rubies, stats, skills, weapons, inventories etc? Or can you see that from backup data?

I no longer have a missing character, now i have an error couldn't load your character.... is that normal?

Try and be patient out there... I've got confidence in Ohai, but problems like this don't go away overnight. Don't be surprised if new hiccups come with this last problem. Keep track of everything you can. Write down how you tried to sign-on etc. I'm not sure how the info will be used, but if Ohai needs it, keep a record so that we'll all have a good record of all of this mess!

My character was impacted by the problem. Thanks for restoring it, this was a new character so I didn't lose much other than recipes, clothes, and harvestables.

However, when it was restored, you changed it from female to a male avatar. Could you please restore my character to be female?

Yea, I'm in the same boat as Renee. I had a new character so I'm not do upset about starting over. I still have my minion stats, so I'm happy

EXCEPT... I used to have a female character, and now it is a male. Is it possible to change it back?! My character is back at the very beginning, and I'd really like it changed before I start all over again!
