I wasn't sure where one posts if I have questions or want to talk about the forum.... So i'll put it here..

Is there a way to put images in spoiler tags-- have images out of the way until you click them, so that when you open a thread with lots of screen captures It doesn't take forever to load the images and you only have to click to see the images you want to see ? I predict a lot of screen captures...

(I was thinking of the [spoiler][/spoiler] that some forums powered by vBullitin have... )

In future where should I ask forum questions... new section?

Susan really made this suggestion, but alert emails? Like one a day which combines anything that someone's replied to OR Instant notifications?.

That is more difficult due to the fact that we use facebook connect, but I will look into it.

calan / susan - is that like using the subscription feature for threads in user control panel so you can watch threads that you post in (or are trolling...)

well, not quite the same, but kind of a similar idea of reading/tracking certain threads and replies, just within the forum user panel, instead of as an email.... ?

/actually i haven't figured out/used the subscribe feature on user control panel cos the forum doesn't seem large enough yet

edit: ok, now I did try to figure out the subscription feature. I see there is manage subscription in user control panel, but I can't find out how to add a thread to the watch list. I was expecting some button at the start of thread, first page by title, to add to watch list, but I don't see anything there or ... any where... :shrug:

It could be like subscriptions, on other forums ie. the wiki you "watch" a page or topic and it'll send you an email when someone responds on it or edits it.

I was talking about an instant or daily email that tells you the postings and updates for the forum.

Subscriptions would be cool.

You can subscribe to and bookmark topics the options are down at the bottom of the page.... not that I use them (since I essentially try to watch everything I can), but the buttons are there
